WHO WE ARE, WHY WE EXIST & WHAT WE DO...

Lanescape inspires community connectivity to arts and culture through vibrant evolving spaces and places.

We are a community group on a mission to create public works which promote art and culture, support tourism, increase the liveability of the Goondiwindi area and improve community participation in arts and culture across the region.

Since starting in 2018, the Lanescape Group has focussed on creating public art work throughout the town with the intention of creating an art trail. Each year new works are added to the trail.

The concept is supported by an annual festival to celebrate the works and create an atmosphere and incubator where people can come together and get excited about art and culture, and provide relief from everyday activity in a rural community. This years event has been scheduled for Friday the 10th October, 2025 and is set to be another fun and entertaining evening!

Future plans for Lanescape have been laid out in a masterplan, but continue to grow and evolve from feedback provided by local community, artists and mentors.

Lanescape Goondiwindi Inc are also proud recipients of the Australia Day Award for Community Event of the Year for the Goondiwindi Region in 2020.
