SCOTT MAXWELL
Born on Magnetic Island, Scott is a concept designer based in Currumbin, Queensland. He has a long lineage of artistic ancestry and has always worked in the visual arts industry and as a project coordination in community engagement.
Scott achievements include:
– Elected for the Sydney 2000 Olympic Torch Bearer Relay.
– Presented with a National Patrol Service Award from Surf Lifesaving Australia
– Undertaken several self-funded overseas artist residencies
– Selected to present animation display to Prince Charles
– Attained 2 community service awards
– Won 85 awards locally, nationally & internationally in art/design/sculpture/photography/PR/placemaking
– Currently representing Australia with 23 other sculptors from around the world presenting 3D concepts for the largest park in the world in ChengDu
His interpretive works have been officially opened by;
– Many Members of Parliament
– 3 State Premiers
– 2 Prime Ministers; and
– Her Majesty the Queen
