ILLUMINATE THE FLOW

Completed in 2024 by Illuminart

This project is a lasting tribute to our community’s resilience in the face of adversity. Designed to spark conversations supporting wellbeing and mental health, it serves as both a stunning artwork and a catalyst for community connection.

Originally an artistic concept, the project gained momentum when aligned with the Goondiwindi Regional Council’s Local Recovery Plan. By creating an installation viewable only at night, we encourage visitors to extend their stay, supporting local tourism, hospitality, and small businesses.

Officially launching at the Lanescape Festival 2024 on October 11th at 7 PM, the installation will run nightly for at least five years. The artwork displayed will be regularly updated and expanded, ensuring a fresh and engaging experience for both locals and visitors. This ongoing evolution is made possible through the generous support of the Vern Kleinschmidt Fund and our Local Business Sponsors. Each year, five new businesses will have the opportunity to sponsor the project, with spots filling quickly—this year’s sponsorships sold out within a week! Those interested in supporting future installations are encouraged to express interest early to secure their place in this unique community-driven initiative.
